Almira 4-H
For ages K-12 meeting on the second Monday of each month. Projects include sheep, swine, horses, dogs, cats, sewing, cooking, photography, and family living. The Lincoln County Fair is the main showing and held the weekend before Labor Day weekend in Davenport, WA. Almira 4-H'ers hold an annual tv/vcr raffle at the Almira Country Fair. Almira Cemetery - Memorial Weekend 2001

Almira Cemetery Endowment
These volunteers manage an endowfcment fund to pay the Town for eternal care of the Almira Cemetery . The association meets annually in April. Donations can be submitted in c/o Loraine Lute PO Box 551 WIlbur WA 99185.

Almira Community Church
There are many functions within this congregation including weekly Sunday School, Sunday Service, Senior Luncheon, Wednesday Youth, and an annual Vacation Bible Study. For more information on services contact Pastor David Oliver at 639-2311.

Vacation Bible School: SonCreek Junction. Ages 4yrs to completed 6th grade. June 4 - 8, 2001; 9:30 to Noon, program Thursday evening.

Almira Lions Club
This group meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. These volunteers have spent countless hours in community support, hold several fund raisers throughout the year, and sponsor the local Jr. Miss pagaent. They have made many improvements at the Lions Club Park and around the community. Donations can be sent to PO Box 134 Almira, WA 99103.

Almira Volunteer Fire Department.
The Firefighter's/EMT's respond to all emergency calls within and outside the city limits of Almira. Firefighters meet on the first and third Thursdays, EMT's meet again on the second Thursday each month. The department handles several Fund Raisers to help buy updated equipment, in addition to doing a section of SR2 Highway Clean up, Christmas Program Santa & Candy, and Christmas Lighting around Town. Donations can be sent to PO Box 36 Almira, WA 99103.

Eastern Star
These volunteers, connected with the Local Masons, work for charities such as the Cancer Fund and the Heart Association. The main fund raiser is selling pies at the Almira Country Fair. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, contact Linda Ertz 639-2214 for further information.

Masonic Lodge #127
Chartered in 1903, meeting on the second and fourth Monday each month. A fraternal organization sponsoring the state DeMolay boys ages 12-18.
